This project presents a comprehensive technoeconomic assessment of a decentralized modular anaerobic digestion (AD) network designed for municipal solid waste-to-energy applications in Benghazi, Libya. The study evaluates a 10-unit modular AD system processing 22.5 tons/day of organic waste, and includes technical performance modeling, biogas production estimates, financial analysis (NPV, IRR, payback), governance frameworks, sensitivity analysis, environmental benefits, and policy recommendations. The full research manuscript is uploaded as a PDF. This work contributes to waste-to-energy planning and renewable energy strategies in North Africa.
