This dataset contains raw and processed radio frequency measurement data from an 868 MHz LoRaWAN walking survey of the Faculty of Engineering campus at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Nigeria, conducted on 4 June 2026. The dataset supports log-distance path loss modelling, spatial coverage mapping, and dead zone analysis for campus IoT network planning. A LILYGO TTGO LoRa32 V2.1 module was fixed on the rooftop of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering building (6.403157°N, 5.614505°E, approximately 5 m above ground) as the transmitter beacon. A receiver built around an RTL-SDR Blog V3 dongle and GNU Radio was carried at 1.0--1.5 m height during a continuous walking survey of approximately 463 m across the Faculty grounds. GPS waypoints were logged simultaneously at 1 Hz by a smartphone GPS application. After merging and quality filtering, 193 matched (GPS, RSSI) samples were produced.
