Access to Success: Opening Higher Education in South Africa through Community Fundraising

Every community wants its children to reach their highest potential. Yet in a country shaped by a long history of social, economic and political inequality, most South Africans face severe constraints in achieving that goal. Despite this, poorer communities have embraced Mandela’s words – “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – and made great sacrifices to ensure their children can pursue higher education.
