Akulai - Bogoŋ women 0040-Akulai Bogoŋ: a cultural, historical and linguistic documentation

This bundle contains texts from the most senior Bogoŋ speaking women in Kabiti, Kpandai, Mbowura and Nkwanta. (September 2006). The bundle also contains transcription and translation of the audio files. My new assistant Nana Anthony Kofi Awiagah recorded various texts from the wife of Nana Akuasi Daare, the clan head of Konkorompe at Kabiti. Nana Akuasi and his son Kwame Daare attended the interviews and contributed. The son of Nana Kwame Awiagah (Chief Priest) and Akosia Daare Tubaale Ajandɛ Kwajo Awuku is the clan head in Kpandai, the tubaale (=male elephant). Also known as Nana Awuku. Born 1986.
