The Athlete Innovation & Smart Medicine 5G (AISM 5G) project is a pioneering initiative aimed at creating a comprehensive, technology-driven ecosystem for sports medicine, rehabilitation, and innovation. The project integrates four main components:
1. Smart Sports Hospital: Advanced medical facilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of professional and amateur athletes, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as CyberKnife, NanoKnife, CryoShockwave, and MRgFUS.
2. Specialized University/College: Offering academic programs in sports medicine, physiotherapy, biomedical engineering, and applied artificial intelligence for sports.
3. Research & AI Center: Developing locally manufactured rehabilitation devices, analyzing player performance, predicting injuries using AI, and collaborating with international research institutions such as MIT Sports Lab, Aspetar, and Mayo Clinic.
4. Sports Entity & International Marketing: Partnering with major sports clubs to enhance visibility, attract international athletes, and position Egypt as a regional hub for smart sports medicine and technological innovation.
