BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION: ISSUES, CHALLENGES, AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ERA OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTIC REVOLUTIONS IN NIGERIA

The paper examined issues, challenges and opportunities in Business and entrepreneurship education in the era of artificial intelligence and robotic revolutions in Nigeria. Artificial intelligence and robotic revolutions are viewed to be facilitator of adequate acquisitions of relevant skills, knowledge, and competencies that are imperative to enhance business and entrepreneurship education in higher institutions of learning in Nigeria. The paper also discussed the concepts of business and entrepreneurship education in teaching and learning of students, entrepreneurship education as well as the concept of artificial intelligence and robotic revolutions for the teaching and learning of Business and entrepreneurship education. Some recommendations were made thereafter, among which are, that both teachers and students who are not AI and robotic revolutions acquiescent should acquire the skills to be relevant in the society. Government should restructure or review the curriculum of Business and Entrepreneurship Education in line with AI and robotic revolutions in line with the requirement of the 21st century world of work. There should be provision of well–trained teachers who can instill the right knowledge, skills, competences, and attitudes to the students through AI and robotic revolutions to make them employable and relevant in the outside world.   Key Words: Artificial Intelligence, Business Education, Entrepreneurship, Institutions, Students
