This repository contains the datasets and analysis script accompanying the research article “Children’s Multimodal Feedback Practices Across Cultures: A Lens on Social-Cognitive Development,” published in Cognitive Development in 2026.The datasets contain the manual annotations used in the study. The annotations were produced by the authors and include information about feedback produced by children in English, Datooga, Qaqet, and Bolivian Amazonian Spanish, as well as by adults in Datooga and Bolivian Amazonian Spanish.The accompanying script was used to analyze the annotated data and to generate the plots presented in the article.If you use, analyse, reproduce, or refer to these datasets or the accompanying script in your own work, please cite the original research article:Bauer, A., Gipper, S., Mitchell, A., Perniss, P., Träuble, B. & B.
