Creating a CLEWs ecosystem in Zambia Supporting policy coherence across climate, land, energy and water planning

With CLEWs we refer to the connections between the climate, land, energy, and water systems. However, by taking a transdisciplinary approach is possible to go beyond this nexus and collaboratively develop knowledge for continuous research. The CLEWs ecosystem presented in this poster shows how this has been applied in the context of Zambia alongside The University of Zambia (UNZA), UCL, and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Through joint cooperation and the insights gained from the workshops, stakeholders, academics, and past research, it was possible to pinpoint challenges and needs specific to this context. This will guide on-going research in understanding how to improve resilience in the agriculture sector while promoting the sustainable use of resources.
