This repository contains the dataset and analysis code used in the study "Measuring adaptive capacity: An index-based approach for farmers in Niger". The dataset (niger_farmers_AC_data.dta) includes survey data collected from farmers in Niger, covering key indicators of adaptive capacity. The Stata script (niger_farmers_AC.do) contains the statistical commands used for data processing, computation of the adaptive capacity index, and various statistical tests, including normality checks, reliability analysis (Cronbach’s Alpha), and parametric/non-parametric tests. All analyses were conducted using Stata and Excel, for statistical analysis, data processing, calculations, and visualization. Files included: - niger_farmers_AC_data.dta – The dataset used in the study. - niger_farmers_AC.do – The Stata script for analysis.
