A decentralized solar energy system for agriculture is being developed at the Belaidouni-Med farm in Algeria as part of the MG-FARM 1 project [1] between Africa and Europe, following LEAP-RE 2 [2] call for proposals. LEAP-RE supports cooperation between Africa and Europe in the renewable energy field by establishing a sustainable partnership between stakeholders from the public, private, and research sectors. MG-FARM, is co-financed by the EU and the AU [1-3].
