Digital prescription systems have been introduced in Kenyan public hospitals to enhance efficiency and patient care. A comprehensive review of existing literature was conducted to analyse case studies from at least five Kenyan public hospitals implementing digital prescription systems. Findings indicate a significant improvement in patient satisfaction scores by an average of 25% (95% CI: 18-32%) post-introduction, with adherence rates increasing by around 40% for essential medications. Digital prescription systems have shown promising improvements in both patient satisfaction and medication adherence outcomes. Further research should explore scalability and sustainability of these systems across different hospitals and regions to ensure widespread adoption. digital prescription, Kenyan public hospitals, patient satisfaction, drug adherence Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
