Enabling Open Science in Africa with DataCite: Insights and Use Cases

DataCite Community Specialist Mohamad Mostafa presented at a webinar hosted by the UbuntuNet Alliance as part of the newly launched Open Pan-African Repository Community of Practice (OPAR) Open Science Webinar Series. He shared DataCite use cases from across Africa, introduced DataCite’s new membership model, and explored how DOIs and open metadata could help African institutions increase the discoverability, accessibility, and impact of diverse research outputs.
