Processed analysis-ready dataset and full replication code accompanying a manuscript under review at Eurasian Geography and Economics: "Diagnosing the Infrastructure– Expropriation Nexus: Public Infrastructure, Land Value Capture, and Structural Exposure to Compulsory Acquisition in Vietnam's Socialist–Market Land Regime."
Author metadata is intentionally withheld during blind peer review and will be completed upon acceptance.
Contents. (1) data/epi_province_data.csv — the province-level Expropriation Pressure Index for all 63 Vietnamese provinces (63 rows × 23 columns), derived from VHLSS 2024 official aggregate tables published by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO). (2) code/ — Python scripts producing all numerical results in the manuscript (hedonic price models, Sổ Đỏ collateral analysis, EPI construction and construct-validity diagnostics). (3) Regression outputs, a column dictionary, and generated figures.
Not included. The household-level VHLSS 2018 microdata underlying the hedonic and collateral analyses is subject to GSO terms of access and cannot be redistributed; researchers should apply to GSO (gso.gov.vn) directly. All code required to reproduce the analysis from that microdata is provided here.
