To encourage the use and conservation of the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) sorghum collection of the United States, the core set from Sudan was genetically characterized. This highly genetically and phenotypically diverse germplasm resource is available to the public for breeding programs and geneticist to effectively improve this crop.
