Economies are better when logistics is efficient and affordable. Sendy, in partnership with insight2impact facility, is hosting a Zindi challenge to predict the estimated time of delivery of orders, from the point of driver pickup to the point of arrival at final destination. ## OBjectives: --- ## GETTING STARTED *THE FOLLOWING STEPS ASSUMES THAT YOU HAVE ANACONDA INSTALLED OR ANY JUPYTER RELATED SOFTWARE* --- **development branch** = dev 1. clone the repo to your local machine: ```git git clone github.com ``` 2. checkout the development branch & pull changes to ensure it's up to date. ```git git checkout Dev git pull ``` 3. Create your own working branch from **Dev**. NB create a branch with a meaningful task/feature name e.g preprocesing if you are aiming on preprocessing the data. ```git git branch Task_Name ``` 4. After completing a minimal task, you may commit. ```git git status git add . git commit -m "comment on changes" git pull ``` 4. To push your changes to the online repo use: **NB** replace Task_Name with the branch name you created. ```git git push --set-upstream origin Task_Name ``` 5. If task is complete and you wish to merge the work to the **Dev** branch. create a pull request for review using the web-based github. **if you come across any dificulties, just create an issue and one of the team members will assist**
