Proverb is one sense statements in Hausa; it takes someone longtime to achieve something. Life is a mixture of sweetness as well as bitterness; scholars are saying life of an individual would not be complete until he/she comes to an end. This paper titled place of disability in Hausa proverb, aims to bring out proverbs that are in relations with disability in Hausa literature and to rescue these proverbs from extinction. The objectives of this paper are to show to the world how Hausas use proverbs that have relationship with disability in their daily activities. This paper applied interview and the used some related books on disability in gathering data. However, the paper gives more light on Hausa proverbs and proverbs that are mainly on disability in order to express sense statements in an aspect of language and literature of Hausa. Finally, the paper found that, Hausa has verse sense statements, where it touches all aspect of human endeavor. This paper also found out that, some disabilities are inborn people inherited them from their forefathers, while some are as a result of accidence.
