Adzoyo left Vane about 30 years before to go and work in Accra, she had returned the year before to take care of her mother. She describes how Vane had changed in the intervening time. Adzoyo talks mainly in Avatime but sometimes explains things in English or uses the odd English word, presumably because Rebecca speaks English and not much Avatime.
