Whenever a burial service is performed at Nkami, it is accompanied by a traditional practice whereby a bucket of water is placed in the middle of the way for people from the cemetery to wash their hands before they reach home. The recording captures people wash their hands while Akwasi Azaglo inquires from Uncle Denteh about the rational for the practice. The elan file contains (raw) transcription of Nkami's recording and Akan translation. It has not been translated into English yet.
