Perception, attitude, knowledge, facilitators and barriers of HPV screening uptake among adolescents and young adults in Africa: A systematic review

This systematic review explores adolescents’ and young adults’ knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, facilitators, and barriers to HPV screening uptake in Africa. It identifies key facilitators such as health education and healthcare support, and barriers including low awareness, stigma, fear, cost, and limited access to services. The study emphasizes the need for improved awareness and youth-friendly screening programs to increase HPV screening uptake and prevent cervical cancer.
