This systematic review examines the factors influencing Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) for HIV among young people in Ghana. Evidence shows that VCT uptake is hindered by limited knowledge, stigma, fear of confidentiality breaches, and inadequate youth-friendly services. Facilitators include improved HIV awareness, supportive peers, positive attitudes toward testing, and accessible, confidential service delivery. The review highlights the need for targeted interventions to reduce barriers and strengthen supportive environments that encourage HIV testing among Ghanaian youth.
