In order to strengthen the body of programmatic learning around the integration of postpartum family planning (PPFP) services into maternal, newborn, child health and nutrition services, we conducted a descriptive evaluation providing and comparing details on integrated PPFP implementation models used in Bondo and Embu districts in Kenya and Jharkhand and Bihar states in India. The study's objectives were: 1. To describe the implementation models used to integrate PPFP into the following service areas: antenatal care (ANC), labor and delivery (L&D), postnatal care (PNC), maternal, infant and young child nutrition (MIYCN), and outreach services, including intersections with immunization or the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) 2. To understand the barriers and facilitating factors related to the implementation and scale up of each model 3. To describe client perceptions of each model. This repository includes the data used and to be published in a manuscript on the F1000 Research platform, titled "Characteristics of successful integrated family planning and maternal and child health services; Findings from a mixed-method, descriptive evaluation". The data shared includes survey responses from clients using maternal and child health and nutrition services in each country (tool 5a), as well as surveys of providers in the same facilities (tool 3b). We also include a project component with tools - this time all the tools including the qualitative interview guides used for key informants (tool 1), Facility in-charges (tool 2) and providers (tool 3a). Lastly we include the client flow tool 5b. Note the data from this tool was published in a separate paper in BMJ Open. We include a link to that data repository as well as a link to the paper in the wiki.
