Replication package for "Nitrogen fertilizer pathways shape food production, land demand and climate outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa"

This repository contains the R code and reproducibility materials for the study “Nitrogen fertilizer pathways shape food production, land demand and climate outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa.” The analysis separates fertilizer-N application, crop productivity, agronomic responsiveness and nitrogen recovery; incorporates a publication-balanced baseline productivity synthesis; evaluates alternative fertilizer–productivity pathways, including a high-N non-responsive stress test; and propagates uncertainty through Monte Carlo analysis. The package provides the materials used to reproduce the principal analyses, tables and figures reported in the manuscript.
