Version 1.0.0 of the CBS Dispersal Model This is the first release of the CBS Dispersal Model. This is a landscape-scale model of Cassava Brown Streak dispersal within and between growers’ fields, and the response of growers to the disease through a behavioural model of clean seed use. The program is run through the file Model.m, where parameter choices are made within this file and FXNParams.m. FXNLandscape.m locates growers fields and calculates dispersal between fields, FXNCss.m determines the users of a clean seed system, FXNChoice.m describes the grower behavior model, FXNTrade.m determines the trade network between growers, FXNInitial.m sets the initial infection levels, FXNSeason.m calculates results from a given season, FXNDisease.m runs the set of differential equations describing disease dynamics, FXNReplant.m describes the replanting of fields at the end of a season and FXNStore.m stores the results. Location_ZambiaNorthern.txt, Location_ZambiaEastern.txt and Location_UgandaNakasongola.txt describe the coordinates of a default set of fields used in each of Northern Province (Zambia), Eastern Province (Zambia) and Nakasongola District (Uganda) respectively. We gratefully acknowledge funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Rothamsted Research receives support from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) of the United Kingdom.
