This project aims to explore how common consumer technologies (such as smartphones, tablets, and everyday consumer digital products) variously promote, increase and enable violence against women with disabilities in South Africa. It also aims to identify, map and document how women with disabilities draw on these same technologies to protect themselves, remain safe, and respond to violence. This will include mapping and synthesising current evidence on technology-facilitated GBV in low- and middle-income countries with a specific focus on women with disabilities
