Tanzania Southern Highlands Village-Based Agricultural Advisors Endline Survey

This data set contains endline survey data from interviews with 193 Village-Based Agricultural Advisors (VBAAs) associated with Farm Input Promotions-Africa operating in seven districts in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania; 189 of these VBAAs were also interviewed in the 2017 baseline survey. The endline survey data were collected in February 2019. The survey included questions on each VBAA's involvement in setting up demonstration plots for maize and/or beans as well as their distribution of free small seed packs to promote maize and bean varieties and related inputs and management practices. In addition, information was collected on the VBAA's commercial sales of maize and bean seed, inorganic fertilizers, seed treatments, and pesticides, as well as demographic and socio-economic information.
