ABSTRACT Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies influencing educational practices across msn.com world. AI-based learning applications such as intelligent tutoring systems, automated assessment tools, and adaptive learning platforms have the potential to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve students’ learning outcomes. Despite these opportunities, the integration of AI technologies in Nigerian classrooms remains limited. This study examined teachers’ readiness and the challenges associated with integrating AI-based learning applications in Nigerian classrooms. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population consisted of teachers in public secondary schools in Nigeria, from which a sample of 200 teachers was selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire titled Teachers’ Readiness and Challenges in Integrating AI-Based Learning Applications Questionnaire (TRCAILAQ). Data obtained were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. Findings revealed that teachers demonstrate moderate readiness in adopting AI-based learning tools but face several challenges including inadequate technological infrastructure, insufficient professional training, poor internet connectivity, and limited institutional support. The study concludes that improving teachers’ digital competencies and providing adequate technological resources are essential for effective integration of AI-based learning applications in Nigerian classrooms.
