This dataset contains UAV-derived raster and vector data from cassava field trials conducted at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Nigeria, during two consecutive growing seasons: 2018-2019 in Ibadan and 2019-2020 in Ikenne. The raster data include multi-temporal RGB orthomosaics and crop surface models (CSMs) generated from high-resolution UAV imagery. The vector data include plot-level polygon files for each season, with unique plot identifiers and associated canopy trait information. The dataset supports the analysis of UAV-derived cassava canopy traits, including plant height, plant volume, relative growth rate of plant height, and relative growth rate of plant volume. These data were used to evaluate temporal canopy growth dynamics, repeatability, and heritability of UAV-derived structural traits across 46 cassava genotypes.
