Abstract Sodium chloride solution controlled five epiphytes often encountered on cocoa in Ghana, Bulbophyllum sp., mosses, Angraecum birrimense , Platycerium stemaria and Asplenium africanum , but not Rhipsalis cassutha . Bulbophyllum sp. and mosses were killed by 2% NaCl, and 4% killed A. africanum and P. stemaria , but 6% was needed for A. birrimense . Copyright © 2004 Whurr Publishers Ltd
