Diketso Thonkha explains how her great grandfather, Matlajana, together with his cousin, Faru, were the first people to arrive at Mosenekeng. From Phamong, they first travelled to and settled at the red mountain (Thaba Khubelu). From there, they saw Mosenekeng and decided to move there.
