An illustration of the "aram" genre (i.e., a conversation). The two speakers have a conversation about the lack of rain in Southern Plateau State during the planting season of 2004. This project documents the Goemai language (Afroasiatic, Chadic, West Chadic A, Angas-Goemai, Southern branch; spoken in Central Nigeria) in the form of a comprehensive reference grammar, a dictionary and an annotated corpus of natural texts.
