Replication Data for: Respiratory syncytial virus age-specific seroprevalence and implications for a childhood vaccination window in coastal Kenya: Observations during the COVID -19 pandemic

This is a replication dataset for the manuscript titled: "Respiratory syncytial virus age-specific seroprevalence and implications for a childhood vaccination window in coastal Kenya: Observations during the COVID -19 pandemic."

The datasets are part of ongoing SARS-CoV-2 surveillance study in the inpatient paediatric ward in Kilifi County Referral Hospital. Archived serum samples collected from children during admission between 2020-2023 were selected and screened for RSV-specific antibodies using an IgG-based ELISA that utilized crude virus extract from lab-adapted RSV A. The study relied on retrieved stored biobank serum samples from the selected participants and the metadata available within the Kilifi Integrated Data Management System (KIDMS).The data shared is composed of the laboratory RSV IgG ELISA antibody titres and relevant metadata such as demographic characteristics(age, sex etc.)
