This scoping review aims to map the existing evidence on intervention and burden modelling studies conducted in Sub-Saharan Africa. The review will identify the methodological strengths and weaknesses of these studies, clarify data limitations, and characterize the models used. Additionally, it will identify the most frequently modelled non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and associated risk factors in the region. The findings will provide valuable insights into the current state of modelling research and help guide future studies on health interventions and disease burden in Sub-Saharan Africa.
